#031 - Office mode: off
A pretty reasonable Tuesday.
The operations team had been invited to the airport to get a closer look at what we normally follow on a screen: the arrival of an order.
And of course, between another morning of emails and watching our boxes come off a plane, there wasn't much to debate.
Laptops closed and we're off.
THE AIRPORT, BUT FROM THE OTHER SIDE.
Normally, we know the airport for the queues, the Starbucks coffee, and that moment when you try to convince someone that your backpack fits perfectly under the seat.
P.S.: Pilatus Cabin backpack always on.
This time it was our turn to see the other side. No boarding pass.
THERE THEY WERE.
There was our new collection. The one we had been seeing for months in designs, samples, documents, and a few emails with too many people copied.
Seeing them arrive in person has its charm.
Going into the cargo hold of the plane that brought them, even more so.
WE DON'T DO THIS WITH EVERY ORDER.
We don't do this with every order. They would kick us out of the airport and, probably, there would be a lot of work left to do.
Although we really like excursions.
We already know that when we are invited to get a better look at everything that goes on behind the scenes, we are pretty bad at saying no.
Oh, and they invited us to breakfast, which also counts.

The backpack thing was the job. The plane thing, a little extra.
