If we've learned anything at Pilatus, it's that good things take time to come. That the path to something great is almost never a straight line. And that sometimes the key isn't focusing on the opportunity in front of you, but rather the persistence with which you pursue it.
Our entry into France began over a year ago, when a friendly brand introduced us to Snejana, the person behind UltimateLinq, an agency that represents brands in the country's top stores.
From the first coffee, it was clear that we shared the same vision.
But at that moment, at that first contact, the answer was: it's not time yet .
Anyone would have closed the conversation. But that's not how we work.
Each trip to France was a new excuse to see each other, to continue the conversation, to prove we weren't bluffing.
We wanted him to understand that Pilatus isn't just another brand. That we're here to stay. That we see France as a key market and that we were going to do everything necessary to live up to it.
Over time, that persistence (and the excellent work of our team) made things click in his head.
Snejana began to see in us what we had seen in Pilatus from the beginning: a brand that can and wants to play in the big leagues. And with her experience working with brands like Orbitkey and Native Union, we knew she was the right person to accompany us on this step.
Together we toured Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, and Le Bon Marché. The goal was to see them up close and learn what the brands that have been there for years are doing and offering. We had to understand what league we wanted to compete in. Above all, to have a clear direction.
And now, with UltimateLinq as our partner in France, we're taking another step forward in the internationalization of Pilatus.
